So
many memories of Mike, it's hard to choose one to reminisce about, but
the one that comes to mind is when we were in junior high at CFIS and
Mike, myself, and a few others were at his house getting ready for a
dance. We were all fighting over one sink and mirror that we all ended
up being late, but Mike simply said, "Don't worry, we're fashionably
late, and we're the coolest kids here." Mike through and through. You
were always a pal and a rival, a friend and an enemy. A mixture of both,
equal parts. Thinking about it now, it shows what an individual you
were and I've yet to meet anyone like you. You always had a joke and a
jab in the same sentence. Although we didn't speak often, every time we
saw each other, it was awesome catching up to the days past. The world
lost an awesome friend, son, and brother. Rest in peace buddy.
