Hey
Mikee, remember all those parties you had and told me just a few
friends were coming over and it usually ended up like this? Well they
came back for more tonight! Well lots of them have been keeping us
company every single night! They still remember my rules and follow
them. No peeing on my grass, throw away your trash, recycle the bottles
and water my plants with half full water bottles! You were a Great
friend with Great kids! I Love You Mucho! Momma

ReplyDeleteIt’s Lauren (Ching)’s Mom – Joanne.
My thoughts and prayers have been with you since we found out from Lauren. As a parent, especially a Mom, my heart has ached for you since I heard. I’m grateful for the short time Lauren had with Michael – the blessings he brought to her life. I believe Michael was in her life for a purpose, for a time. And I’m glad the Vega family will always be part of Lauren, even more so now.
I share this poem by W. H. Auden I once heard, because it describes so perfectly about losing someone we love deeply.
For those who loved Michael:
"Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let airplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good."
With our deepest sympathy. Joanne & Michael Lopez
Thank You Momma! <3
